Originally, the L46 was designed as a commission for the manor house “Gammel Kjøgegaard”, located south of Copenhagen near the city of Køge. It brings us great joy to have brought this updated version of the beautiful MK154 to life. One of the characteristics of Mogens Koch's upholstered furniture is that the frame is made as an independent construction – with frame and chair always being clearly and separately defined. Koch didn't like the idea of the legs of the furniture emerging straight out of the upholstery, because the blind frame is often of a different type and quality of wood.
